Is change really necessary? As the world turns, day by day, humans use every day things like cars, computers, televisions, and other such objects that all must have a type of fuel or source of power. And every day there will be less fuel to either create electricity or to power engines. Finding another way to power the world has been a big priority to many people around the world for years and only recently has it been recognized as such. In today's world, most vehicles run on fossil fuels which as we know are oil based and very limited and are not a very efficient or clean way to produce power or to travel in a personal vehicle. Many designs for vehicles that run on new kinds of fuels has been growing at a near outrageous pace. Many car companies have been developing cars that run on electricity, hydrogen, ethanol, and even compressed air. My personal favorite of these is the engine that runs on compressed air, it is an ingenious design that has the potential to create its own fuel by using alternators to run compressors that fill the tanks which fuels the engine that leads to an endless cycle. Another favorite is the electric car that has batteries to run the vehicles motor, a downfall to that design is that the car must be charged which takes electricity from an outlet. Which leads me to another, but similar topic of producing electricity. The main way to create electricity, in America especially, is by burning coal which does not burn clean and polutes more than any other source. There are many alternatives such as solar panels, windmills, and water turbines that could easily be implimented around the world to provide electricity at a very little cost to many companies. These different ways of creating power for both home use and to power vehicles may be pricy as of now due to the fact that they are just beginning to really invest in them but soon enough they will come at a much cheaper price.
